Beginning Band Royalty

Beginning band students participate in frequent performance challenges in which they compete against their classmates to earn the positions of "King" and "Queen" of the beginning band.

Once a King and Queen are in place, they can be challenged to performance contests by individual classmates.  The winner of such a one-on-one challenge takes the appropriate "throne" and is allowed to wear one of the two special band hats during class (designating the student as King or Queen).  The winner holds the position until he or she is "unseated" in a subsequent challenge.  Below are pictures of all Beginning Band Royalty along with the dates of their "reign."

Contests are judged by Mr. Spraggins.
